This Influencer Seeding Kit is designed for the 90's rock band Sublime. I grew up playing pool with my father while listening to Sublime's hit songs "Doin Time" and "Santeria" on repeat, and it will always remain a favorite memory. This kit is a physical representation of my love for pool Sublime reminds me of and helped create, and my never-ending love for their music.
CONCEPT SKETCHES
SHOES
Each panel of the shoes is hand-painted with the colors from the color-coded and numbered balls in pool. The original gray suede was replaced with pool table felt, and the 8-ball logo was painted on the back. Additionally, a laser-cut keychain of the logo hangs from the laces of the right shoe.
HOODED SWEATSHIRT, JEWELRY, & ACCESSORIES
The 8-ball logo is laser-etched onto transparent green acrylic and strung with pearls to make an adjustable necklace and bracelet. Additionally, the same technique produced a keychain with gold hardware in addition to the keychain attached to the shoes. The 8-ball logo was also screen-printed onto the back of a green hooded sweatshirt for apparel.
THE BOX
This wooden box was handcrafted and stained and also wears gold hardware. It is a perfect cube and splits in the middle. The inside is partially lined with pool table felt and a laser-etched 8-ball logo on black acrylic sits on the front above the lock. The shoes inside are velcro-ed to the top, so even with the lid closed they remain attached to the roof.
